Dr. Donald G. Nicolas is an accomplished educator and debut author with a passion for inspiring young minds. A proud graduate of Florida State University, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. He furthered his academic journey by earning a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida.
With over 20 years of experience in various educational roles, Dr. Nicolas is dedicated to shaping the next generation through teaching and storytelling. His faith-driven mission to spread messages of love, peace, and hope led him to write I Have A Special Gift For You, his first children’s book. He plans to continue creating uplifting stories that promote positivity and inspire young readers.
Born in New York and raised in sunny South Florida, Dr. Nicolas draws from his diverse background to connect with children and families through his work. When he’s not writing or educating, he enjoys spending time with his family and embracing the vibrant culture of his community. His career embodies two decades of experience as a teacher, reading coach, and assistant principal. Berwick is an expert at tailoring curricula, creating, and delivering training programs with a passion to help others effectively do the same.
Did we mention that Berwick is a spoken word artist of Haitian descent? This means he is a bilingual creative with a rich cultural tapestry who can personally relate to others who share the same. From humble beginnings as an immigrant, he has grown to become a college graduate, published author, and brainchild of Evoke180 Publishing. His ultimate objective is to help children, youth, and educators spark passion in their purpose.
